Firewall Settings (Windows)

 

Configuring your firewall (Windows)

 

1.) Open up Control Panel and select System and Security > Windows Firewall > Allowed apps

 


 

2.) Click "Change settings" then check the boxes next to "sighthound agent", "sighthound video", "sighthound web", and "Sighthound XNAT". These can be found at (C:) > Program Files > Sighthound Video. Click "OK" at the bottom of the page.

 

Other Firewalls 

You will need to add or edit each of the following applications to your firewall exception rules: Sighthound Video, Sighthound Agent, Sighthound Web, and Sighthound XNAT. These can be found at (C:) > Program Files > Sighthound Video

 

Below are some examples of how to get to the firewall settings in your security software.

McAfee

Open McAfee and go to Navigation > Firewall > Internet Connections for Programs


Norton

Open Norton and go to Settings > Firewall > Program Rules

 


 

Comodo

Open Comodo and go to Advanced Settings > Security Settings > Firewall > Application Rules
