Sighthound is discontinuing the Boulder AI Cloud software (BAICS). This is unrelated to the Sighthound / BoulderAI hardware, which we continue to invest in and sell on open market. The BAICS solution was used by a small margin of Boulder AI customers. We are discontinuing it fort two reasons:

The Google IOT core on which BAICS was based is being discontinued by Google effective August 16, 2023.

The requirements BAICS addressed can now be better addressed with a) modern open source solutions such as Mender.io and Kubernetes and b) Sighthounds SIO platform.
Effective immediately, all versions of the Boulder AI Cloud Platform are no longer available for purchase, subscription, or subscription renewal. Customers with active subscriptions will continue to receive support and may continue to use the Boulder AI Cloud Platform until the earlier of their current contract expiration date or the date shown in Table 1 below.
